Online psychotherapy
Psychodynamic psychotherapy, both short-term and longer-term, for adults and young people aged 13-18, online via video or telephone, for clients across the UK and worldwide. Therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and are available AM and PM in your time zone.
My aim is to create a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship with you, giving you the space and time to recover and to grow.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy derives from the work of Sigmund Freud and therefore works with the unconscious mind. We’ll be looking at your childhood memories, relationships dreams and intuitions as well as everyday experiences and goals.
A safe and supportive environment where the emphasis is on growth and problem resolution — online, wherever you are.
Psychodynamic therapy for adults of all ages — people committed to change and to making a difference in their own lives, and people in trying circumstances who are committed to overcoming them and growing through them.
Support for young people aged 13–18. Esther holds certificates in bereavement counselling and adoption-support counselling, and volunteers for two counselling charities helping young people and frontline workers.
I am a psychodynamic therapist. I am registered and accredited with the BACP in the UK and have 10 years of professional work experience. My background is in higher education and business. I was educated and qualified in London.
I work with adults and with young people (aged 13-18). I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, relocation and immigration, trauma & coping with grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and empowering environment where thoughts, memories and feelings can be shared freely. The emphasis is on growth and problem resolution in a safe and supportive environment.
I work with the unconscious mind, so pay a lot of attention to such things as gut feelings, intuitions, dreams and moments of insight we all get. I am interested in my clients' childhoods and relationships with their parental families, as well as any generational patterns or traumas they share with them.
I love working with people of all ages who are committed to change and to making a difference in their own lives, people in trying circumstances who are committed to overcoming them and growing through them.
I hold certificates in bereavement counselling and adoption-support counselling in addition to my core professional qualifications. When I am not working at my private practice I am volunteering for two counselling charities helping young people and frontline workers.
I have experience in helping clients with:
